This weekend I went….. wait for it….
NOWHERE!
With all of the traveling I have been doing lately, I needed a break weekend to get it together. I can neither confirm nor deny that there was a span of 24 hours that I did not leave the apartment.
BUT I did catch up on homework and watch (more than) a few episodes of Gilmore Girls.
Okay don’t judge me too hard though because it was raining ALL weekend.
Movie Moments
My favorite part of this whole weekend was getting to see the one and only KATHRYN ALLEN!! (one of my friends who is studying abroad in Ireland this semester) We met up in Retiro Park and did the whole sappy movie dramatic run to each other that is completely ridiculous but also very necessary at some points. It was pretty E{pic}xtra.
Also a huge shoutout to this beautiful sunbeam because she was willing to go to the gluten-free bakery with me even though she can totally eat gluten.

Running into the Sunset
So the only other productive thing I did this weekend was to go for a run in the park by our apartment!
On this excursion:
- I got VERY lost
- I stepped in a huge mud puddle
- I hit my head on a tree
- I got chased by a very vicious Chihuahua
- I got lost a second time after thinking I was found
- But most importantly…
I found the sunset!
But, HEY…
“Some beautiful paths can’t get discovered without getting lost.”
— and I eventually found my way back, so all is good.
